Piedmont, in north eastern Italy, is a spectacular location in any season, but truffle season is a feast for the senses. Known for its production of some of the world’s best wines, Piedmont also has a hidden treasure, literally. The rare white truffle represents the ultimate in culinary delights. The truffle can be found in other areas around the Mediterranean, but Alba is considered the absolute Truffle Capital. The region around Alba actually determines the price of truffles worldwide.
