Mediterranean Cruise on a Turkish Yacht
The southwest Mediterranean coast, known as the Turquoise Riviera, is replete with secluded coves bathed by the turquoise waters, where time has done little to spoil the crystal clear waters, pine-clad inlets and uncrowded beaches. The quintessential – and most relaxing – way to visit this exquisite area is to charter a private “gulet,” the traditional wooden Turkish yacht. Two to three yachts may be chartered for larger groups! Land excursions will take you to sites along the Lycian Way where you will explore ruins of spectacular ancient cities such as mountaintop Termessos, Olympos and the extraordinarily intact Roman theater of Aspendos. A 4-day cruise is often combined with a land portion to visit another region of Turkey and the theme of the tour can be study, music, or cooking.
